The new generations of vehicles have longer maintenance periods, in turn demanding a better performance of all the elements that compose it.
Modern engines are smaller than their predecessors, but also much more powerful. The oil must be capable enough to withstand high temperatures, without chemically breaking down or evaporating. It must retain its fluidity at low temperatures, to avoid loss of lubrication and engine wear.
Synthetic oil can last up to 3 times longer than mineral oil, which means that, in the same distance, you could use only 4 liters of oil with a single change, instead of 12 liters with 3 changes of mineral oil in about 5,000 km.
It is proven that this type of oil reduces internal resistance in the engine and therefore offers more power. This increase in power means that the engine will be able to do the same work as before with less effort and fuel.
